Great opportunity for young creative industry professionals in BiH
This year, all agency and independent professionals under the age of 30 will once again have the opportunity to show the creative industry elite in Cannes their talent and skills.
2019 will mark the third year since the Branding Conference, as part of a partnership with the prestigious Cannes Lions Festival, will organize the Young Lions B&H Competition, which gives winners a unique opportunity to fight against creative thinkers around the world for global recognition at Cannes.
The concept of the competition is to bring together industry professionals who will work together in pairs in the categories of design, PR and digital. For a full 24 hours, they will be in an isolated location away from senior colleagues or outside influences. The main goal is to successfully complete a brief that will be given to them by the client at the very beginning of the competition. What gives Young Lions added significance and a unique motivation for competitors, is the fact that the client is a non-profit organization for which they will create a conceptual solution for a campaign that will have a positive impact on society.

We believe that, with adequate support and mentoring, these young minds can unlock the door to a new, joyous and prosperous society. It is very important for young creators to be familiar with our work and the topics that we are dealing with. We are looking forward to the solutions that they will come up with within the Young Lions B&H Competition and their responses to communication challenges relevant to UNICEF,” said Nela Kačmarčik, Head of Communications at UNICEF B&H.
A round trip ticket to Cannes, accommodation, and a five-day festival adventure with a total value of 10,000 KM, are just a part of the GRAND PRIX prize which will bestow the winners of the B&H competition. Of far greater significance is the fact that this is an opportunity to attend the central gathering of creative industry all-stars, which in and of itself brings knowledge, new information, the opportunity to exchange ideas with the best of the best and an infectious energy that will undoubtedly reflect on the future work of our winners.
